Travel Baseball
The LCBA operates travel baseball teams comprised of residents of Lakewood, Ohio. We play in the Cuyahoga Valley Baseball Association League and Puritas Baseball League. Annual tryouts are open in August for teams for the following year. Ages 6 through 14 years are encouraged to tryout. One or two teams for each age group from 8U - 14U are formed based on assessments from annual tryouts. Travel teams play a regular season and will enter two or more tournaments depending on interest. Tryouts for the season will be in late August.
Fall Leagues
Independent teams made of players from Lakewood and nearby communities are formed as needed and registered in regional fall leagues such as Puritas, Brunswick or North Ridgeville. Fall leagues give players an opportunity to extend their season and continue to develop in a competitive environment.
Recreation Baseball
The Lakewood Rec. Dept operates our in house recreation league baseball program. Teams are formed from Lakewood residents and play in Rookie (Staff pitch), Minors (9-10 kid pitch) and Majors (11-12). More information and registration information here.
