Tryouts for 2027 Lakewood Season
The LCBSA Lakewood Travel program is open to players interested in developing skills and playing games in a competitive setting. Teams play against neighboring communities through the Cuyahoga Valley Baseball Association, Ohio Prospects League, Emerald Necklace Fastpitch or Lorain County Hot Stove League from late April through Mid July. Practices begin indoors in winter and early spring prior to the season.
Registration costs are determined in September for players that roster on a team and cover equipment, league fees, tournament fees and full uniform. Read our FAQ for more information.
Tryouts will be conducted by the Lakewood High School Coaching Staff.
Players will run through the following stations for tryouts:
- Outfield
- Infield
- Pitching
- Hitting
Players must bring:
- Your own water bottle
- Ball hat, cleats, glove, your own bat, your own batting helmet
Tryouts have Concluded
Roster process is nearing completion and we will be sending notifications towards the end of August/beginning of September for all players who tried out for a team. Families will be informed of their player’s team placement status—whether they made a roster or not—for the 2027 season. We will send notices to the emails that registered the player on PlayMetrics for tryouts.
