Rookie Coach Pitch Group Practice
Rookie Group Practice will allow Rookie Players, Parents and Coaches to start to play some baseball/softball before holding team practices. Parents and Coaches will help run small group drills and mini games to learn to catch, throw, hit and run the bases at Harding Field and indoors at Harding Gym.
Parents/Coaches will learn the Coach Pitch motions to prepare for the season!
You must be registered to play Rookie Coach Pitch for the 2026 summer season to participate in this camp.
Please come at your assigned Group time by your player's elementary school:

Session 1 - Softball Rookie Teams: 10am-11:30am

Session 2 Baseball Rookie Teams: 11am -12:30pm

Session 3 Baseball Rookie Teams: 12pm-1:30pm

- Reds (Lou Barbee)
- Rockies (CREC)
- White Sox (Dr Kolodziej)
What to bring:
One Parent/Guardian, Ball Glove, Baseball Hat, Gym shoes (no cleats!), Batting helmet (optional), Bat (optional)
Volunteer Head & Assistant Coaches will assist in all stations including hitting, catching, throwing, base running along with LCBSA Directors and Coaches.
